• 🌼 Daisy Threadskip

Daisy Threadskip skips instead of walking, always choosing the longer route because it’s more fun. Her limbs swing in cheerful disagreement, and she laughs at jokes she hasn’t quite finished telling.

Daisy forgets things easily, but somehow always remembers how to make the day brighter.

  • Wool vs Polyester stuffing

    Wool vs Polyester stuffing

I have used lumpy wool (from my neighborhood sheep guy) to stuff my Cat dolls, but it was bunching up so I switched over to polyester.

I set up a little test between smooth wool and poly stuffing, wanting to see the good and bad of each.

Polyester on the left / wool on the right

These are the little arms for my next Cat doll who doesn’t yet have a name.

As you can see, they have been stuffed already and look similar.

Too similar! they both are tightly filled, and every little bunch is visible. To me, there are only a few ways in which one is better than the other.

1- Some people are allergic to wool, and no one is allergic to polyester.

2- Plastic for the most part is difficult to break down and so it lasts thousands of years.

Wool on the other hand is natural, decomposable, and easy to use.

3- Wool is so soft compared to the polyester, maybe it’s easier for those who suffer from arthritis.

4- If the polyester doll gets dirty, like dropping it in a puddle, we can submerge the whole Cat in soapy water.

If it’s filled with real wool you may try to spot clean with a soft cloth and soap. Maybe you can take it to a dry cleaners and hope that it comes back.

So this is what I’ve learned about this comparison.

I will use the polyester for Cat stuffing when I plan to sell the Cats, just in case someone’s allergic to wool.

And I will fill my own cat dolls with the wool, which feels nicer on my hands. Plus, I live on a farm and have a large supply of wool, I might as well use it!

    Sewn closed by hand

I sewed them shut , and although my sewing skills are still in the works, the mess of stitches will be covered by the sleeves anyways.

    Petite and her babies 💗

This is Petite with a couple of her babies. She would like to welcome you to the blog, other than that she’s so cute and gentle that I just had to put her in this post!

    🌱 Fern Whiskerbloom

Fern Whiskerbloom prefers the edges of things: tall grass, quiet corners, and moments no one else rushes to fill.

She moves gently, discovering secret paths that only appear if you slow down enough. Fern doesn’t need much attention, but she treasures it deeply when it finds her.

Millie Softstitch appears calm and gentle, but she notices everything. While others play, Millie subtly rearranges chairs, paths, and plans so the meadow runs smoothly.

Her playfulness is quiet and clever, and most cats don’t realize how much she’s done for them until things feel just right.

  • Monday Mugshot

She is gentle, gracious, and carries herself as though she has been politely expecting this meadow to exist all along.

Meet Miss Petalwhisk, the very first little lady to wander into MeadowLace.

Miss Petalwhisk loves flowers, pretty things, and making sure everyone is behaving themselves.

But she has been known to sneak an extra cookie when she thinks nobody is looking.

  • The Meadow

In the gentlest corner of the world, where wildflowers nod politely to the breeze and sunshine lingers like it simply cannot bear to leave, there lies MeadowLace. A soft and storybook meadow where kindness grows as naturally as clover.

Here, the grass is always cushioned, the tea is always warm, and not a single creature has ever considered hurrying for any reason at all.

Buttercups bloom in cheerful little clusters, butterflies drift by like gossiping flower petals, and even the clouds seem fluffier overhead. It is a place where ribbons catch the wind, laughter rustles through the daisies, and discontent, quite frankly, never received an invitation.

Within this lace-kissed meadow live the MeadowLace cats, a delightful collection of embroidered elegance, puffed sleeves, and softly swishing petticoats.

These are no ordinary felines! Nope. These are dainty meadow ladies and cheerful fluff-hearted friends who glide, prance, tumble, and occasionally trip through wildflower paths with charming determination. Dressed in soft layers of lace, florals, and embroidery that make each cat unique.

Each cat possesses her own sweetly humorous personality. Some are graceful in the way swans imagine themselves to be, while others are more… enthusiastically decorative, often arriving with petals in their hems and absolutely no explanation.

Together, they fill MeadowLace with gentle comedy and heartwarming friendship, turning ordinary days into delightful little adventures.

Whether hosting daisy tea parties, chasing butterflies with dramatic seriousness, or becoming mysteriously tangled in ribbons they absolutely should have avoided, these cats remind us that elegance and silliness make rather perfect companions. They are kind without effort, funny without meanness, and charming in the way only creatures dressed like living bouquets can be.

Have a seat, stay a while!

In MeadowLace, every rustle of lace, every playful pounce, and every soft purr feels like a small reminder that life is loveliest when it is approached with warmth, whimsy, and perhaps just a touch of fluff.

    Welcome to MeadowLace

    Hazel Pincush

Hazel Pincush likes things tidy and sighs fondly at chaos she secretly enjoys fixing. She keeps track of where everything belongs and gently puts it back, usually while pretending she’s not having fun.

Hazel’s practicality anchors the meadow, even when she pretends she’d rather be resting.

  • 🌸 Miss Petalwhisk

Miss Petalwhisk moves through the meadow as if an audience is always watching, practicing curtsies to flowers and sighing gracefully at mild inconveniences.

    Miss Petalwhisk

She adores elegance but trips over it regularly, recovering with such dramatic flair that no one dares laugh (they laugh anyway).

    Miss Petalwhisk

She is convinced she is very refined, which makes her silliness all the more charming.
